Reasons I love Brighton

There are so many reasons to love living in Brighton, I have put together five of my best reasons to fall in love with this city by the sea...

The Foodie Scene

Brighton has a thriving food scene no matter what you are looking for. Whether you are on the hunt for Fish and Chips in Brighton, fine dining in the town center or tapas in the laines, there is such a vast array of things to choose from. Some of my favourite places include Drakes - for a fancy meal, Donatellos for a yummy pizza and Ohso right on the seafront.

The Pier

Brighton is lucky to have a really amazing pier which makes for a super fun day out. With a whole range of rides including a helter-skelter, ghost train and rollercoasters, it makes for a great date idea or somewhere to go with the family. There are also a range of places to get food - piping hot donuts, Mr Whippy ice creams and noodles are just some of the things you need to try!

The Shopping

No matter your shopping preference there is something for you in Brighton. From the high street shops in Churchill square to the designer shops in the Lanes and the quirky boutiques in the old laines. There is something for the fashion conscious, the health conscious and those looking to find a real surprise.

The Beach

Nothing beats heading to Brighton beach in the summer. There are a range of bars and cafes along the promenade to sit and enjoy a drink, or plenty of places to grab a deckchair and watch the waves, catching a tan. There are also a number of art galleries, small shops and rides such as a carousel to keep the family amused for a whole day.

The Nightlife

If you are a hen group or simply looking to head with a group of friends for a night out, then look no further than Brighton! They have a whole host of brilliant Brighton cocktail bars such as The Gin Tub, BYOC and Twisted Lemon and also lots of clubs if you're looking for something a bit more lively as the night heads on! There are also a host of pubs which host quizzes, games night and open mics.
